Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Dadacoin website (memedadacoin.com, the "Site") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit it. Dadacoin is a community memecoin project; the Site is informational and does not require account creation, wallet connection, or personal registration to be used.
1. Who we are
The Site is operated by the Dadacoin project team. Contact: contact@memedadacoin.com.
2. What information we collect
We keep data collection minimal and operate on these principles:
- No mandatory account. You can browse the entire Site, read articles, view live on-chain stats and the gallery without creating an account or providing personal information.
- No wallet connection collected. The Site does not request a wallet signature, does not store any wallet address you may use to interact with Dadacoin on-chain, and does not log private keys (which it never has access to).
- Anonymous analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to count page views and understand traffic patterns (anonymized IP, browser type, country-level location, page path). This data is aggregated; we do not attempt to re-identify visitors.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard HTTP access logs (IP, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) for up to 30 days, used solely for security and debugging.
- Email contact. If you email us, we retain the message and your address only for the purpose of responding.
3. Third-party services we display data from
The Site fetches public, read-only data from third-party APIs to display live information:
- DexScreener: token price, market cap, liquidity, volume.
- BscScan: holder counts and recent on-chain transactions of the Dadacoin contract.
- Pinterest: public images from the official Dadacoin board, displayed on the gallery page. We only read public board content; we do not access your Pinterest account.
- Hashnode: our blog content is mirrored on dadacoin.hashnode.dev for distribution. The canonical version remains on this Site.
- Uniswap iframe: the swap widget is an embedded iframe served by Uniswap; their own privacy policy applies when you interact with it.
- YouTube embed: videos shown on the Site are embedded from YouTube. Their cookies and tracking apply once you interact with a video.
4. Cookies
The Site itself does not set any first-party tracking cookies. Third-party services we use (Google Analytics, embedded YouTube, Uniswap iframe) may set their own cookies subject to their respective policies. You can block cookies in your browser without affecting most Site functionality.
5. How we use the information
- To display the Site and its features (live stats, blog, gallery).
- To understand aggregate traffic and improve the Site.
- To respond to your email if you contact us.
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not run targeted advertising campaigns based on personal data.
6. Data retention
- Server access logs: up to 30 days.
- Analytics: GA4 default retention (currently 14 months for event data).
- Email correspondence: retained as long as needed to handle the conversation.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR for EU/UK, CCPA for California, etc.), you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise any right, email contact@memedadacoin.com with the request and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Crypto disclaimer
Dadacoin is a memecoin. Nothing on the Site constitutes financial advice. Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and you may lose your entire investment. Always do your own research (DYOR) before any transaction. The Site never asks for your private keys, seed phrase, or wallet password. Anyone asking for these is a scammer.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Substantial changes will be announced on our official channels.
